Hanmin Jung (a.k.a Neonphaser)

Hanmin Jung aka. Neonphaser is a Seoul-based technical sound designer who has been involved in audio, focusing on building immersive sound systems and crafting detailed soundscapes with care and precision. He approaches sound as both a craft and a continuous learning process. 

In recent years, he has been expanding his practice into music, photography, and media art—personal explorations that help him translate sound into new forms of expression. Through his albums Persona and Prism, along with various visual works, he reflects on themes such as identity, memory, and the quiet relationships between audio and image.

 

He also runs Patchground.com, a small but growing online community dedicated to electronic and modular music, where he shares knowledge, resources, and conversations with fellow artists and creators.

Balancing technical understanding with artistic curiosity, Neonphaser continues to explore the space between structured design and open-ended creativity.
